The Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers recently adopted Recommendation CM/Rec(2026)7 on good practices for the remote and online provision of medicines.
In Portugal, this service may be provided only by pharmacies and outlets selling non-prescription medicines (LVMNSRM) duly licensed by INFARMED, I.P., through authorised websites displaying the common European logo.
