DGAV approval of a veterinary-use product’s sale authorisation is followed by ongoing reporting obligations.
Under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 237/2009, after renewal of the sale authorisation, required five years after initial authorisation, a Periodic Safety Report must be submitted to DGAV every three years. If renewal took place in 2023, the report is due in 2026.
