Safety data sheets (SDS) are mandatory for chemical substances and mixtures under the REACH Regulation (No. 1907\/2006), but did you know that cosmetic products are excluded from this obligation?<\/p>\n

Cosmetics have their own legislation, Regulation No. 1223\/2009, which provides for the necessary information to be supplied through labelling or a leaflet, without an SDS.<\/p>\n

Although mandatory in other sectors, SDS requirements therefore do not apply to cosmetic products.<\/p>\n
